Here is a list of 10 best apps for students with a brief description of each app. While the apps are not listed in any particular order, our favourite is Khan Academy. Founded in 2006 by Salman Khan, the mission of Khan Academy is to provide “free, world-class education for anyone, anywhere”.

1. Khan Academy

Khan Academy, the biggest online studying resource is now available in the form of an iOS app. This app gives you full access to Khan Academy video lessons on a broad range of subjects. – Highly recommended for students ranging from Grades 1 ~ 12. 2. Evernote

Evernote is a free app that lets you take notes, pictures, voice reminders, create to-do lists, copy web pages and practically everything that you find exiting online or in real word. This app lets you have access to everything that you have saved, across all your devices – Tablet, Laptop and phone. You can also share your notes and info with friends and colleagues. 3. Self Control

Most social media addicts go online with the good intention of spending just a few minutes but end up spending hours, unable to control their craving for social media and other addictive websites. Self Control app allows you to block your most addictive sites for a set amount of time on your phone or tablet. This can be helpful when you have an exam nearby or you are trying to complete an assignment. Once you turn-on this app, there is no way to get around it, even restarting the computer will not help. Math is already hard enough. What if you forget your scientific calculator at home ? 7. Sleep If You Can Alarm

This app is awesome for waking up which can be extremely hard for students. With this app you can set an alarm to wake you up and the alarm turns off only after you have taken a picture of the place or thing displayed on your phone’s screen. This ensures that you are really up and ready to start your day. You can also shake the phone to turn off the alarm but if you really want to get up you should take a picture of what it tells you to. 8. JumpCut

JumpCut makes it easier to copy and paste things. This app basically provides access to your clipboard’s history. Sometimes it is good to stay in touch during school because your friends can tell you something you missed when you were absent. Facebook Messenger lets you message your friends over Wi-Fi.
